Introduction: The US subprime mortgage crisis, which has been viewed as ruthless havoc on stock markets, financial organisations, housing industry and global economies, has had its gruesome effect on as many as 2 million kids in US; voiceless victims who never understood the criminal greed of financial organisations. The crisis, which led to high unemployment,more evictions and foreclosures, has eventually taken its toll on children too by disrupting their education, crumbling their peer relationships and dismantling the social network in many ways.
